Screening of "Proof of Identity”

The Begin Center, with its own strong connections to the Polish-Jewish story, is delighted to be hosting a screening of this film, followed by a panel discussion on “Jewish Identity in Israel and the Diaspora”. The interviewees in this poignant documentary represent a wide variety of Jews residing in Poland today. By interviewing the generation that has had no direct contact with the Holocaust survivors in their families, this film encourages viewers to ponder how Holocaust memory and attitudes to antisemitism have evolved in Poland.
